Task Attorney General Holder and the Justice Department to protect the right to vote of tens of thousands of Americans.

Created by J.P. on August 15, 2012

The GOP has waged war on the poor and minority voters in many states. Extending voting hours in Precincts that vote for them and severely limiting them in Precincts that vote against them. Voter ID laws rushed into place a mere two months before an election. The open way in which the Republican party strips away at our Constitutional right to participate in the Democratic process is illegal and it is the duty of Attorney General Holder to protect the rights of minorities as outlined in Section 5 of The Voting Rights Act of 1965. It is also stated that no provision is to be implemented until it has been reviewed by the Attorney General and found to have no discriminitory effect on the rights of voters.
