Being that churches are in the business of selling mythology and faith, and being that they derive the same benefits of a government protecting them; therefore they should not be tax exempt from their responsibility to our nation as businesses to contribute a modest tax for the good of all.
Politically, I am a centrist; and theologically I am a Deist in this same vein of Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington and many other good names that you know. This nation was not founded as a Christian nation. It was a nation of freedom of religion. The mega-churches have taken advantage of the ignorance of people, and sold them on mythology that is not based in fact. Thomas Jefferson once said, on any given Sunday behind any pulpit stands the antichrist.
