Tax all income the same. Whether income comes from investments or wages, or lottery winning or rental income or inheritance or anything, the tax rates should be the same. I find in insulting that an american can work hard and earn $40,000 in one year in wages and have a higher tax rate then someone who earned $40,000 in dividend income. That is the opposite of the American dream. Make hard work pay off.
