Tax all religious owned property, income from religious activities and investments.

Created by R.M. on August 09, 2012

Our Constitution clearly separates religion and Government. Many states, counties and cities increasingly ignore this and have allowed religion into the public arena, paid for by taxes. They are repeatedly getting away with it, which violates the Constitution. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." Allowing a LEGAL exemption for religious groups of all types to NOT pay PROPERTY TAX and business income taxes on profit is a clear violation of this basic foundation of our country. Nationally we loose about $400 billion in property tax per year. This is unconstitutional. Only property owned by a religion is currently truly owned. If you must pay a property tax then it is owned by the state.
