Americans throw away anything into the trash. It is important to not throw toxic waste into regular trash for A: it can hurt somebody and B: it can seriously damage the environment. I.E. Love canal.
So for the Americans that are just throwing away dead batteries right into the trash should automatically be taxed for we are trying to make the environment a better/heather place to live.
