Tax Breaks for Fluffy Bums!

This petition is to lobby the federal government to give tax breaks to families that use reusable diapers on their children. According to the Union of Concerned Scientists, 18 billion diapers are thrown into landfills every year. That's a lot of baby waste! Meanwhile, only 4.4 percent of American families use reusable diapers. And why should they? They require a substantial investment, despite the fact that they save thousands of dollars in the long term. For this reason, we petition the government to give tax breaks as an incentive for families to use environmentally friendly reusable diapers.
