Ignore the debate of whether marijuana is wrong or right and accept the fact that drug dealers are making billions of dollars off the plant and do not have to pay taxes on the income. Our nation is about 16.2 trillion dollars in debt. So instead of increases the tax rate of people who already pay tax to increase revenue, how about we tax people who have been evading taxes for centuries. The war on drugs began over 40 years ago yet the drug business is bigger than ever. Why not try hitting them where is hurt, their wallets. If the federal government does not impose a tax on marijuana they will look for revenue else where, like say your wallet! Please sign so we can stop the rise of tax rates.
