It has become clear that several religious institutions are trying to close the gap between church and state with truck loads of money to lobby their agendas.
The People now demand that churches of every denomination start paying their fair share in taxes and no longer receive a tax exempt status.
The fact that they are using church money to lobby congress and elected officials is speaking volumes in regards to how much disposable income they have. Taxing the church would help restore the deficit and give relief to all the wealthy people who refuse to pay their fair share as well.
Money from these powerful church organizations to promote their agendas is simply saying, "Hey, it is time they start chipping like the rest in the best interest of our country."
