Tax the Churches in the United States. We (the US Taxpayer) is losing out on an estimated 71 BILLION dollars a year.

I am petitioning the US Government to Tax the Churches in the United States. This includes the Housing Allowance for Clergy. I want the IRS 990 form to be mandatory for all Church accounting offices. The tax exempt status for churches has been unconstitutional for as long as America has been a country. It's time for churches to pay their fair share. YOU.. the American taxpayers, are shouldering a huge share of the tax liability, to the tune of at least 71,000,000,000 dollars annually. Money that SHOULD be collected by the IRS from US Churches. It's time to end the free ride.
