Tax companies that outsource tech support overseas and designate proceeds for training in US for same services.

Created by C.H. on January 28, 2014

There are thousands of unemployed workers in US capable of providing technical support which is currently outsourced outside of the United States by US based corporations. Enact a fair federal tax on this policy and use proceeds for training of US citizens to provide these support roles. The outsourcing is a method to reduce operating expenses for the corporation. In essence, this practice is counter intuitive in that dealing with support with unfamiliar accents actually takes more time to convey essence of problem. Stop outsourcing of technology jobs to foreign countries where security issues are of a grave concern.
