Tax Deductions when a fetus is considered a person.

Created by R.S. on June 03, 2015

In states where a fetus is considered to be a person for the purposes of restricting abortions, women while pregnant should be able to use the fetus as a tax deduction on their federal and state income tax returns. They will receive the same deductions as they would normally be entitled to for any dependent child. This includes a child care deduction since the woman would be responsible for providing child care for the fetus.
