Tax exemption for deployed DOD civilians

Created by J.R. on November 08, 2011

DOD civilians are the only people in theater of Iraq, Afghanistan that are taxed as though they are working in the continental United States. Deployed civilians are contributing and making the same sacrifices as everyone else in theater, military and contractors both. However, DOD civilians are the only ones ineligible to receive the foreign earned income tax exemption.
