A tax exemption for individuals to purchase safes or other protection equipment to prevent the abuse of guns and weapons

Created by D.D. on December 20, 2012

The quickest most cost effective way to prevent more tragedies involving weapons to happen in the near future is to immediately offer a tax rebate or monetary incentive, and increase funding for programs for citizens to purchase gunsafes, locks and other protection to protect weapons from being accessible to anyone other than the owners of items deemed weapons. The prevention of access of the guns and weapons already in the hands of the public need to be more secure. Educational programs and incentives for the public to use preventative measures for access to their legally owned weapons is a simple, cost effective measure to prevent future abuse of weapons used by parties obtained from citizens legally owning weapons.
