It has become clear we are unable to regulate firearms in this country, so it's time to consider alternatives. We currently tax cigarettes to pay for cancer research funding. Congress was unable to pass legislation to fund research for gun violence, but this is OUR CHILDREN'S LIVES. They need to learn conflict resolution so the first choice is not a gun...and we can pay for it using a tax on gun and ammunition purchases.
