Tax Gun Manufacturers and Gun Owners a sufficient amount to pay for enforcement and compensate victims.

Created by B.G. on January 31, 2013

Every year the U.S. federal government, states, cities and counties spend billions of dollars in police, emergency services such as hospitals, nurses and doctors, victim's counseling and countless other costs.

Non-gun owners should not have to pay extra taxes to pay for services their actions did not cause.

We request the government immediately set up a system of taxation on gun manufacturers, gun dealers and gun owners with sufficiently high rates to completely cover all policing, emergency services and victim compensation resulting from guns in America.

We estimate that up to 50% of police costs in the entire country is due to guns, and possibly 20% of medical costs. This proposal will help to balance the budget.
