Each day, millions of Americans receive unwanted JUNK MAIL. Time wasted opening it, disposing it, printing it, all the wasted precious paper, WHY?
We're not talking about a small business mailing of 500 or less, a local place of worship, etc. This is about companies that send millions of pieces of junk mail in a day that just get thrown out. Especially credit card companies and other financial businesses. They are free to market but who is paying the lost consumer time, the environmental cost, the recycling or disposal cost? This is unfair. Our planet is in crisis and we need to look for ways to reduce waste & stress. The last thing a busy person needs at the end of the day is a pile of mail they didn't even want and now are obliged to open and shred for fear of identity theft.
