Tax the Non Profits to Close Deficit: Help the Many and Not Just the Few. Non Profits can chip in a little more.

Created by S.C. on January 24, 2013

Non profit organizations and individuals that receive donations should pay a small tax to help close the deficit in this country. The idea of these charities having tax exemption is because, they are supposed to be helping people. Yet, the USA is stressed to the limit paying for social services. Non profits do not pay real estate taxes or taxes on the donations. Only a very small number of Americans actually get real financial help from these organizations & charities. Some religious leaders enjoy chauffeur driven vehicles and private jets, while their followers cannot come to them and ask for a loaf of bread. When a tragedy happens like a mass shooting, all kinds of fundraisers pop up yet it is hard for the victims to get help while the administrators get healthy salaries. Tax them 1-3%
