Please create laws forcing tax reform that prevent unfair unjust reductions of taxes on married couples in the US.
We are all Americans and should be taxed fairly. Citizens who are single should not have to be unjustly taxed more or at a different rate than those who are married.
Please make it unlawful based on discrimination to provide tax breaks to only a subset of Americans based on the status of being married.
This injustice needs to end and we should all enjoy the same rights in taxation.
It is a citizen’s decision on when they will decide to when and if they choose to marry at all. Government should have not involvement as we all have the right to choose to be married or not and we should not be discriminated against for not being wed.
