Tax video games and the movie industry as an aid in childhood development.

Created by J.M. on January 01, 2013

We hereby are petitioning the U.S. Congress to impose taxes on video games that have a rating of Teen, Mature or Adult with a 20% violence tax. We also petition for a 10% violence tax to be impose on the movie industries gross earnings of a film, in which a gun is used in a threatening manner such as murder or robbery. We feel that by taxing these two industries that promote gun violence as a means to make money might persuade them to make more family oriented films and games, as well as aid childhood development.
