A Tax on Violent Game/Video Makers that MUST fund aggressive holistic mental health prevention programs/treatment center

Created by C.F. on June 14, 2014

While research waivers on the strength of the link between viewed violence and behavior, one's common sense says there must be some sort of a link between the mind of a mentally ill person and repeated viewings of carnage, gun violence, knifings on video games and TV. To be impactful, it must impress. That said, I am urging that 10% of gross profits in any industry that provides R-rated and lower videos or games as well as all news organizations, cable or network, be mandated as a tax used to fund mental health prevention programs and treatment centers across the nation, beginning in large cities. I would also like to find ways to encourage more research on why the gun numbers in our nation have not changed but the increase in violence has.
