Tax Wall Street to solve the national deficit instead of cutting programs that help the people that need help.

Created by I.R. on July 06, 2013

Please propose a small transaction tax on stock trades in Wall Street. Mr. president if you had a small tax on all Wall Street transactions, you could collect enough money to balance our budget. These people making these transactions have the money to pay this tax as opposed to the poor and elderly who absolutely need the programs to survive. Just the threat of losing these services can cause unbelievable stress on top of the stress they already have by having to use these programs. No one wants to be poor and when the government tries to take away or reduce these programs just adds additional problems for them. Taking away their security can affect their health which will cause excessive use of the health care system increasing its cost. Its a downward spiral of our whole system.
