President Barack Obama said he doesn't think marijuana is more dangerous than alcohol, “in terms of its impact on the individual consumer.”
Oh yeah? Scholarly articles show that long-term marijuana use is deleterious. Among other things, it reduces short term memory and exacerbates pre-existing psychological problems. When mixed with alcohol use, it really gets bad. See:
