Teachers are currently being held more accountable for students' grades and actions. However, the students are not being held accountable by anyone else regarding their behavior and grades. Recovery credits, night school, and summer school are given to students to help. Teachers are being offered by administrators to go back and fix grades and offer deals to students. What is this teaching our children? This will only affect our workforce with individuals expecting extra chances in mistakes on the job. Administrators are pressured to lower suspension rates, this results in students not being punished for their actions. They return to class to further disrupt. The behavior doesn't change and good kids are missing out on their education because of disruption. Are we breeding convicts?
