I for too long have witnessed North Carolina Teachers struggle with the already low grade pay they receive, and on-top of that, the added taxes with a lack of pay raises (The past 5 years). This is going to show to be a horrendous problem in the next generation. True caring teachers are leaving the schooling system and acquiring typical every day jobs because its easier to get by! What happens when we have no teachers left who thrive in truly teaching kids? What happens to our future senators? Our future congressmen? Our presidents? Id' hate to see my home country in a deeper pit then its already in because of the ignorance of our governmental branches to resolve an obvious issue.
Give the teachers what they deserve! A higher baseline of pay.
