Telecommunications Reform Now

Created by C.K. on September 23, 2011

Eliminate all regulations and legislation that protect telecommunications companies from competing with one another for the same markets (including within the same industry, e.g. cable TV)

Disallow bandwidth caps, bandwidth restrictions, and bandwidth usage fees for internet and cellular customers.

Disallow private restrictions on how customers may use their bandwidth. For example, restricting high speed internet customers from hosting small servers.

Force high speed internet companies to stop restricting consumer upload speeds, keeping the U.S. behind other countries in internet speeds and also inhibiting technological progress and job creation. Force these companies to provide equal download and upload speeds to consumers.
