Tell the American People how many more citizens must die in mass shootings before we can talk about gun control laws.

Created by C.S. on December 14, 2012

Tens of thousands of Americans die every year from gun-related violence. In this past year (2012), we have seen mass shootings in Aurora, CO; Oak Creek, WI; Newtown, CT; and countless other communities across the country. Yet, after each of these attacks, we are told that it is not the time to talk about gun control laws. So when is the time?

Men, women, and children are dead - killed in movie theaters, places of worship, and schools. Still, we cannot even have a conversation about the access to deadly weaponry and how it affects public safety.

We the undersigned ask the Obama Administration to tell the American People how many more of our fellow citizens must be murdered before we can finally have this conversation.
