The ATF states that if a doctor recomends you use medical marijuana that you must wave you right to own a firearm. this petition is being started in hope to declare that to be unconstitutional and allow medical marijuana patients the right to purchase, transfer,and own a firearm for personal protection. The current status of this regulation is that if you certified as a patient you may not own a firearm while being a patient and for a year after your certification has expired. Whether its a pharmaceutical or an herbal treatment if a doctor recommends its then you should has the right to use it and still have the right of personal protection. please tell president Obama to make the ATF repeal this regulation.
