We are hearing so much about the "fiscal cliff" and how some in Congress want to protect the wealthy, but take away from the middle class, including slashing Social Security and other programs meant to help those in need, sometimes referred to as "entitlements."
Congress needs to step up and show unity with the country by cutting their own salaries and "entitlements." They are guaranteed a paycheck from the government while they bicker with one another. They have the opportunity to have healthcare and a pension plan through the Federal Government program.
Congress should cut the budget a bit by cutting their own salaries and benefits and show the citizens of this country that they are willing to put their money where your mouth is and stand united with the middle class and poor
