We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Tell Congress to enact a law that would stop subsidies to pharmaceutical companies

Created by J.M. on August 26, 2016

With profits soaring, and corporate greed ever apparent in the pharmaceutical industry, and Americans often required to pay more for prescription drugs than citizens of other countries: Congress must enact law(s) to stop the federal support and/or subsidy of pharmaceutical companies through financial or any other means. Congress must tie any financial support of pharmaceutical companies, be it tax incentives, direct financial support, support of research funding, regulatory incentives, or any other incentive, to agreements that would ensure that for this support, Americans would receive the lowest cost for any drugs developed. Stop the abuse of the American public by the greed of the pharmaceutical companies.
