It's been denied time and time again, but climate change exists and is currently ongoing. A major hurricane mixed with high tides has struck New Jersey and Manhattan, a huge chunk of Greenland has melted, and many hot, dry areas in the Midwest are under the threat of wildfire. All because "we can't stop relying on fossil fuels", which are dangerous and often deadly to obtain. But now is the time for change; we MUST start looking for alternative energy sources. We've put it off for far too long. When Republicans keep on insisting it'll only kill jobs in the fuel industry, just think of how many new jobs it'll CREATE! Please Mr. President, put your foot down and tell Republican Congressmen it's time to start relying on cleaner, less dangerous energy sources.
