Congress should not slash social security because it isn't an entitlement. It is a system our parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great grand children are and will be paying into. Slashing social security is raising taxes and redistributing the wealth. If a private trust fund company took the money out of our 401K they would go to jail. Wealth distribution is fraud and theft. Not only are our current senior citizens who have paid into social security all or their life in great danger of loosing it because it is being used as a wealth distribution and treated like a handout when it is really a trust fund our parents have paid into and younger generations are paying into. We want social security to be their for future generations by raising the retirement ago to 75.
