Please stand with those who fought in the Persian Gulf War and tell your Senators to remove the ten-year time limit on the Montgomery GI Bill.
Thousands of veterans have benefited from using this program, but there is a time limit of ten years to use it. After leaving the military some veterans have to juggle with many of life challenges, such as adjusting to a civilian life, new career and family. Before you know it, time is up before using your benefits.
This is not a hand out it is something we earned for our service. Qualified veterans for the Montgomery GI Bill has paid $100.00 a month for twelve months and served with an honorable discharge. Our veterans should not be restricted with any limitations to getting an education. A better educated nation makes a stronger economy.
