Tell congress, the senate, and president to vote to repeal The Bush 43 Era No Child Left Behind Act.

Created by M.K. on December 04, 2012

The No Child Left Behind Act signed into law by George W. Bush is more big government centralized bearocracy from The Washington Establishment. It violates states rights and our individual freedom to choose the school. Ronald Reagan once quoted, "There should not be a department of education. It should be turned over to the states, parents, and the kids." State and local governments are far more effective in running schools then The Whitehouse. Education should be reformed by turning school choice between voucher and charter schools between the parents and the kids. Schools should be graded so education can compete acedemically in the freemarket. Parents should be allowed to send their kid to any school even outside zip code areas and even where they don't pay taxes.
