Tell Congress they deserve a pay cut! Nothing get's done, they barely work any more, and we the people are fed up!
In 2013, Congress worked 153 days last year (2012), and got paid pretty well for part time!
Members of Congress receive an annual salary of $174,000, with a compensation package that brings their pay and benefits up to a comfortable $285,000. The average citizen only earns around $50,000 a year, and Congress should share in the pain.
Tell Congress they should cut their own pay to the same amount that the average citizen makes! That would be a very generous income for someone who only works part time. Please share this petition!
