In 2010 a new EPA regulation banned the manufacture of two stroke engines. 500cc engines, and even relatively small 80cc engines. Including anything larger that the range listed. These small engines burn such an amount of fuel that their pollution should be ignored. The engines banned are not for cars. And don't put out much pollution to to their small size. It is not hard to tell that these engines impact the enviornment very little as a gallon of gas would last a rider 4 or 5 hours of riding at full throttle. While a gallon of gas in a car might last an hour.
