tell the FDA to require accurate food package labeling.

Created by P.R. on April 20, 2013

The food industries successfully lobby the FDA to permit them to lie to consumers.

For example, any food with less than 0.5 grams trans fat per serving can be labeled as "zero trans fat".

By reducing "serving" size, the food industries can poison us with trans fats without our knowledge by making the food labels meaningless.

There are many similar examples.

The Administration should insist on FDA reform and hire a competent consumer advocate to oversee any congressional involvement.
