Today the news has stated that Comcast intends to purchase Time Warner Cable, going from their current 23 million customers to 35 million with the purchase.
Every year there are less and less cable companies, and none of them compete to improve our infrastructure.
Currently America rates #32 in terms of download speed:

And Comcast is ranked #14 in the states compared to Time Warner Cable at #6.

Merging the two companies means less competition, which would only hurt our international ranking in addition to current TWC customers.
On top of that, Comcast would hit the FCC Ownership Cap, meaning they would be legally required to dump millions of customers because of this purchase.
You can't allow this.
