Google has announced that it will shut down its Reader product on July 1. For so many avid consumers of media and information, Reader is an indispensable productivity tool. Google must be harshly reprimanded by the highest levels of the United States government for its wanton abandonment of its single greatest contribution to humanity. WE THE PEOPLE demand that the Obama administration call Larry Page and negotiate terms for the perpetual support and development of the Reader product. Anything less than a stern, direct response from our Federal Government on this crisis would be a travesty of the highest order.
