Tell Israel to grant asylum to the asylum seekers from Africa!

Created by K.B. on January 30, 2014

There are roughly 55,000-60,000 asylum seekers in Israel, mostly from Eritrea and Sudan. They have migrated to Israel in hopes of gaining protection from genocide, torture, oppression and prosecution in their home countries. Israel has refused to grant these people asylum. The asylum seekers in Israel have little to no protection and freedom that ensures their basic needs and human rights.

Since mid-December, Israel has amended their laws to allow the asylum seekers to be held indefinitely pending voluntary repatriation, deportation or resolution of asylum requests, violating their basic human rights.
