Tell the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance to Give Us Back Our TOPS Scholarship Because Education Matters

TOPS (Taylor Opportunity Program for Students) is a Louisiana scholarship program which generally covers tuition for in state students who meet mid-level academic benchmarks. The Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance has put an immediate halt to TOPS payments to colleges and universities due to uncertainty related to the state budget. Approximately 50,000 students are paying for their college tuition with the help of TOPS scholarships. There are so many bright, intelligent minds that deserve the opportunities for a higher education, which many cannot afford.
