If the decision is not overturned to reinstate Dwayne Morrison to federal service it would perhaps set a legal precedent whereby licensed nurses have to take orders from individuals who do not have prescriptive authority.
Dwayne Morrison, RN, BSN, was fired, twice, by the Hampton VA Medical Center back in October and December 2004.
Dwayne Morrison complained to management throughout the VA, including Secretary Principi, about unlawful and unethical activity at the VA involving the Salvation Army Transitional Residence Program and was fired.
