We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Tell President Obama: Appoint Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court.

Created by J.S. on December 18, 2016

After the longest waiting period for a hearing and confirmation vote in the Senate in the history of this country, President Obama can and should appoint his nominee for Supreme Court Justice to the bench. The Senate has withheld, and thus given up its right to advise and confirm by outright refusing to cooperate with the president of the United States. Their behavior is borderline treasonous, and hazardous to our democratic institutions. Our president should not allow a political party to effectively steal his rightfull appointment by using anti-democratic tactics, or else such tactics will continue to erode our institutions indefinitely.
