The President is calling to raise the minimum up to 10.10. Those of you who are against this happening please join me in voicing our opinion against this.
The negatives far out way the positives gained from having the minimum wage be increased. It may gain a short term boost to the economy, but it removes competitiveness. Companies will raise the price of their products to cover the changes in pay. Some businesses may not even be able to cope with the required changes. Meanwhile a large portion of the working class who have worked hard to earn wage higher than 10.10 will be undermined. Those who agree please join me in making or voices heard.
