On July 8, 2012, Sheikh Nimr Baqr al-Nimr was brutishly shot and wounded by Saudi police for having raised his voice against an unjust Saudi establishment that dehumanizes its Shi'a minority! The Saudi Arabian government continues to stifle the voices of the oppressed through the kind of brutality that is tantamount to the barbarism of ISIS! It beats and hangs, it tortures and beheads, and it crucifies and condemns those who seek to break free from the confines of oppression. Despite global outcry and waves of protests against the death sentence of Sheikh Nimr & Ali Nimer, the defiant government condemned him to die in March 2015. In doing so, the Saudi government has chosen to raise its sword against the will of humanity and against the very Islamic virtues it claims to covet! #FreeNimer
