The biggest reason for the U.S. economic situation has been the outsourcing of manufacturing and services. Rarely do we see "Made in America" on anything anymore. Companies that have outsourced manufacturing and services such as call lines must be told that a certain percentage (to be determined) of their manufacturing process and services MUST be done in the United States otherwise huge duty and tariffs will be imposed. This will encourage companies that employ cheap labor in China, India, Malaysia and Mexico to name just a few to open plants here in the United States to supply much needed jobs. This may push the price of goods up slightly but it will be a small price to pay in exchange for more jobs.
Even companies that are not U.S. based should be told the same thing.
