According To The Center for Disease Control and Prevention there are An EStimated one point seven million people who sustain a traumatic brain injury of them fifty two thousand die, two hundred seventy five thoudsand are hospitalized and one thousand three hundred sixty five million nearly eighty percent are treated and released from an emergency departments
the leading cause are falls, motorvehicle traffic accidents
assaults struck by or against and unknown causes the
direct medical costs and indirect costs of traumatic brain
injury such as lost productivity totaled an estimated sixty
billion dollars in the United States in 2000 motorcycle helmet laws do prevent traumatic brain injury and save
taxpayers money but motorcycle riders only want choice
not the consequences this needs to change
