I want to see real images to real, healthy women on the covers of teen magazines!
When teen mags photoshop/alter the photo of a certain celebrity/model, they hurt the readers as well as the celebrity/model. The readers begin to think that being extremely skinny with no blemishes is the only way to be beautiful and the celebrity/model begins to have no self esteem.
Teen mags photoshop the models to look very thin which is not promoting a healthy body image. Because of this, teenagers go on dangerous diets and develop eating disorders. Today, girls between the ages of 12-18 develop eating disorders on a regular basis!
Overall, no one is perfect, yet teen mags seem to promote the barbie doll figure as perfect. I believe that this is completely wrong!
