Tell Texas congressman Michael Burgess to tell Governor Rick Perry to sign term limit legislation for the state of Texas

Created by M.K. on December 13, 2012

Not only should we have a federal amendment for the US constitution for term limits for federal congressman and senators but for our state governor, luitinent governor, state congresman, and state senators. A governor and vice-governor can only service 4 years at the least to 8 years at the most. After eight years the governor and luitinent governor must return back to their private lives and private sectors after the second term is up. State congressman, state senators, state house speakers, and state majority speakers can only serve two years at the least to four years at the most. After four years they two have to return back to their private lives and private economy once the term is served out.
