In 2006, Congress passed the Veterans Benefits Act to give veteran owned small business concerns priority in contracting preference at the VA. However, the VA is DENYING them the opportunity to be considered and DENYING veterans the opportunity to care for themselves and their families. The courts have said the VA is violating the law, yet the VA continues to IGNORE the will of Congress, the President, and the American people. These are small business owners who fought for your right to freedom, now sign the petition and fight for their right to be given a chance to do business with the very agency that exists for veterans.
