temporarily end party affiliations to dissolve polarization within congress.

Created by J.M. on January 22, 2013

We want to temporarily dissolve political parties/affiliations. This would eliminate the need for a party based decision making process and therefore the politicians would make decisions based on the good of the people, the voters, and the nation, not the good of their party.

The polarization of congress has placed the nation in a stalemate and caused the nation/economy to be unstable and there is more focus on the good of the party and the party views than the good of the nation. We would also hope this process would minimize the extremist presentation of media.

There are good aspects to parties. However, at this point in time they are more of a detriment than a good and allow this dissolution shows the public to see how a politician votes when they have to represent their people.
